Five grown men, sexually abused as young school children, came forward with their claims of sexual abuse by their school teacher in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Allison Brown was a student-athlete at Valley Christian High School in San Jose when her coach Greg Marshall began abusing her in the early 2000s. Attorney Lauren Cerri wins a landmark $65 million sexual abuse verdict against the Union School District
A Santa Clara County jury came back with a total verdict of $102.5 million against the Union School District in a sexual abuse case involving two former students at Dartmouth Middle School. The two were sexually abused by music teacher Samuel Neipp. Attorney Lauren Cerri, law firm of Corsigilia, McMahon & Allard, represented the young girl responsible for Neipp’s arrest and subsequent prison sentence. The jury awarded the victim $65 million.
The jury verdict on behalf of Jane Doe is believed to be the largest single plaintiff sexual abuse verdict against a school district in California.
