Former Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Coach Daniel Ad’m Dusenbury Faces Sexual Abuse Allegation
The Orange County Register is reporting that former Mission Viejo Nadadores swim coach Daniel Ad'm Dusenbury may face a lifetime ban from swimming following allegations that he had sex with an underage swimmer.
USA Swimming declined to comment, but the Register is reporting that Mission Viejo Nadadores coaches and officials may have suspected as early as 2006 that coach Dusenbury was involved with a then-teenage swimmer. The allegation has divided the Mission Viejo Nadadores swim club. Reports state that Former Nadadores board chairman Rick Brotherton was so appalled with the way the club has handled the Dusenbury case that he left the club and removed his children as members.
Meanwhile the Register reports that Nadadores head coach Bill Rose continued to dismiss the allegations against Dusenbury for months.
