Union School District settles 40-year-old sexual abuse case for $7.5 million

The Union School District has agreed to pay $7.5 million to five men who were sexually abused by their Cinnabar Elementary School teacher in the late 1970s and early ‘80s. Houg is a former Blossom Hill Elementary School teacher who pleaded no contest to 10 felony counts of child molestation and three misdemeanor counts of annoying and molesting a child.
